What happens to your body when you starve for 30 hrs?

I just did the 30 hr. famine recently.. so i only drank water and juice.

I was wondering.. what happens to one's body when they starve for 30 hrs. does it store fat?

Yes it does, just like a hibernating bear. it conserves as soon as you start to need energy and don't eat. The body hoards food especially simple carbs like sugar in your fat cells to dole out slowly to stave off starvation. But unlike hibernating bears we stay active and really mess ourselves up if we starve ourselves habitually by cutting calories too much.

It slows the metabolism to keep the body from literally starving, then when we think we lost all the weight and can eat normaly, our bodies hoard way too much and we get fatter than before on less food.

That is why crash dieters keep getting fatter and fatter instead of losing weight. It takes a while to speed that metabolism back up if you habitually fast.

At some point the body probably threw the starvation flag (a chemical process). The brain does this to slow down your body to use less calories. When you start eating regularly again, the brain will delete the flag (another chemical process). This is person dependent. Usually people that cannot lose weight through some of these crazy extremely low calorie diets throw that flag more quickly.

My field is in fashion, as a result many people ask me how they can slim down. My answer is always the same: good diet and exercise. But I found this great product (all natural) which I think helps a lot in the process (it's really good for detox, you'll feel much healthier). I recommend you check this website

Skip waiting bedrooms. When you have an appointment, check in and then head out for a walk until the particular receptionist phones you.

Your going to lose some weight. But beware you will gain it back; possibly more than what you had. Your body does store the fat.

i agree with the person above me. and about the storing fat question. well it depends. if you are using up more calories than you are consuming no but if you are consuming more calories, from the juice, than you are using then yes your body will naturally convert them into fat.
