Hey! I got a ridiculously awesome review for both choices.

    HWii REVIEW-

    -DS Reviews-

Super Mario 64 DS: A landmark remake of one of the most inspirational 3-D games of all time. SM64 consists of the usual damsel in distress (Peach) and a tea party gone amuck. Bowser is in and Mario and company go out to save the princess, but they don't come back... Yoshi figures this out and goes on a mission to recover the princess and find Mario, while restoring lost power to the castle in the form of stars.

This is a very great remake, but some things bug me. They took out some basic things (like the green block). Instead, they made the game more complex then it needed to be. They did however, add some good things, including extra stars.

In basic opinion, it is a great game, but doesn't live up to the hype it was in the N64 days RATING =-9 of 10-=

Yoshi Island DS: This game, the successor to the ever so popular Yoshi's Island, consists of Yoshi (and his forms), Mario, Peach, Luigi and other babies. This game is a very fun title, but after beating the game, the game losses it taste and you get bored of it. The screens are also just a little tricky. It also is kinda annoying hearing Lil' Mario scream his head off.

Other than these minuses, YIDS is a great game

    RATING =-8.5 of 10-=

    -Mario Kart Wii Review-

Although I don't own the game (nor has it came out), I will try to use videos and other reviews. Mario Kart Wii is a great game that brings home the MK goodness... and a little more. Motorcycles and narly tricks makes this game look AMAZING. The controlls are a little tricky, but it is worth it.

Game. Is. Amazing. PRE RATING =-5 of 5-=

    THE DESICION:

What game should you get. It is your choice. Here are your pros and cons.

    Buying 2 DS games

    + More games

    + 2 More good ones

    + Ripping off your Mom ( a 60$ deal)

    - Not cheapest

    - Only so much fun (until...)

    - A lower status (a remake and a sequal?)

    Buy MK Wii

    + More fun.

    + More racing

    + Better Gameplay

    + Cheaper

    - Only 1 game

    - WiFi traffic ( trust me)

    - Less "game" than 2 GAMES

    MY OPINION:

I personnaly think you should pre-order Mario Kart Wii. This game looks amazing. AND it's cheaper than the two DS titles, making your Mom happy. You could even use Wii Shopping channel and buy SM64 for just 10$. It is just a better deal.

It's not me to decide your desicions, consider mine, but do some research.

    Happy gaming,

    -HWii

    P.S.

    *subliminal messaging*

    BUY Mario Kart Wii

    BUY Mario Kart Wii

    BUY Mario Kart Wii

    BUY Mario Kart Wii

    BUY Mario Kart Wii

    BUY Mario Kart Wii

    BUY Mario Kart Wii

    BUY Mario Kart Wii

    BUY Mario Kart Wii

    jk lol :)

Well 2 DS games are a better value, but you said you don't care about prices. Personally I would go with Mario Kart Wii. It will be more fun for longer. Also, while those two DS games are very good, the original games are better, so if you want them i would get the Virtual Console version of Super Mario 64, and the GBA version of Yoshi's Island.

The only that will last you the longest fun wise is PROBABLY Mario Kart Wii. Those two DS games are both one player, and would likely get boring after the first runthrough (Unless you have a friend with a DS, in which case, you can play Mario 64 Multiplayer games). Mario Kart Wii lets you play computers in almost unpredictable races.

Definitely Mario Kart for the Wii, it it the most classic Mario game, I think it definitely outdo's either of your DS choices. But if I were to choose a Wii game and to DS games, I would choose Super Mario Galaxy for the Wii, and Mario Kart and The Legend of Zelda: The Phantom Hourglass for the DS. I have played many Wii and DS games, and out of all of them, I feel that these were the best, but that's just me. Good luck with your choosing!

I would probably wait til Mario Kart comes out. I have Yoshi's island DS and it's a great game. Mario 64 you can download on the Wii. So that just kinda leaves you with one game..yoshi. Mario Kart is coming with a steering wheel..and you can play online against other players (including myself) so it just seems to be an overall good time to be had by all. You can waster endless hours driving the karts around (and motorcycles this time) and putting everyone in their place when you beat them!!

    the 2 ds games

I think you should get the 2 DS games.Because you can take your DS with you to different places. You can only bring the wii game to another place that has a wii.
