you're right, this does sound stupid?
That happens when you cry. It will be fine. Just splash them with cold water, or hold a wet towel over your face

When we cry our eyes do go all puffy and a bit red. Thats just the way our skin works. To calm your eyes and help all of this get some refreshing pieces of cucumber and sit them on your eyes for a while. I've had that before but with time it will go away. Also you could try putting a little eyeliner on if your going out to make them look a bit bigger if you think that they look a bit strange. Don't worry about it too much though, it happens to most people when they cry - especially if you've been crying for a long time. The cucumber should help like i said just to refresh your eye area and get it back to looking how it should be. good luck.

try washing your face with really cold water and then if you ahve eye drops maybe for allergies to one drop in each eye. Also you might want to get a rag and get it wet with ice cold water and lay it across your eyes for a while. This will open them up.
