why do kids think a 200 hp civic can beat a 400 hp v8?

TonyN is an idiot, 6000 lbs. No car weighs that, unless it is amor plated. I have a 1 ton pickup that only weighs 5600.

More like 3200-3500 for a V8 car, and about 2500-2800 for a 4 banger.

Not too many cars under that weight, except maybe a Mini.

its because they cant afford a real car, are young so they think they are cool, and all people who race civics think like that. civics are the reason the suicide rate is so high, people buy them thinking they are fast, so they suip them up, and lose to a stock mustang gt or something, so they become corrupt and kill themselves.

6000 lb v8 divided by 400 is 15 lbs per hp

2000 lb divided by 200 is only 10 lbs per hp

those 200 hp are each pulling 5 lbs less than the 400 is.
