I need some clarification on some rancho shocks. Professional answers only please. I am looking at replacing my shocks on my 04 explorer and the rancho website has two listed in their catalog. The first set is (front) RSX17521 and (rear) RSX17507 and the second set is (front) RS999797 and (rear) 999781. I am just wondering what the difference is and which would be the better buy. Plus my truck is an everyday driver.

im looking for a set of brake dust shields for my rims, but they are aftermarket and jc whitney and rockauto only sell ones for oem wheels. is there any other website that sells aftermarket ones for aftermarket wheels?

i saw a staggered wheel fitment on a 4x4 jimmy. my mechanic told me a staggered wheel fitment would kill the transfer case if it was done. what's going on? someone please tell me?

im looking for a set of winter rims for my truck. i want to go with a more negative offset so that they will just stick out from the fender but also retain the stock 245/65/17 tires. could i get away with a used set of mustang rims from a 99 - 04 mustang?

also have to replace the shock mounts at all four corners as well? are they a universal fit for all type of shocks? Im looking for answers from actual mechanics only!

im looking at a couple sets of rims. my question is they are both 9 inchs wide. both sets are 18 " dia rims. i was wondering if they would cause a mounting problem or not? my stock rims r 17x7.5
