Rancho Shocks for 04 Explorer?
I need some clarification on some rancho shocks. Professional answers only please. I am looking at replacing my shocks on my 04 explorer and the rancho website has two listed in their catalog. The first set is (front) RSX17521 and (rear) RSX17507 and the second set is (front) RS999797 and (rear) 999781. I am just wondering what the difference is and which would be the better buy. Plus my truck is an everyday driver.

The RSX line is probably what you want. These are higher quality replacement shocks. The RS part#'s are for a quick lift coil over strut. Unless you are changing tires and going off roading they are a waste of money at almost twice the price. Hope that helps good luck.
