when replacing shocks do you...?

also have to replace the shock mounts at all four corners as well? are they a universal fit for all type of shocks? Im looking for answers from actual mechanics only!

    You do not have to no. Check to see what kind of condition they are in though because you will already have it apart, if they need replaced or may in the near future then this is the time to do it.

    You only have to replace them if they are physically worn out, cut, damaged, or were making noises before you took them apart. They are not universal fit as almost every year and make have different shapes.

    dont change them until they start makeing a noise. it will probably be around 100,000 miles before they need to be replace.
