It is possible that you got this virus before your anti-virus had updated definitions - have you initiated a LiveUpdate to ensure your definitions and program are updated and current?
It sounds like Norton did it's job and removed the virus upon detecting it. You might not actually be infected with it - a simple test would be to try the LiveUpdate - most viruses are written to block access to anti-virus servers, so if you are unable to complete a LiveUpdate, that is a good sign that thh virus did actually get executed and is running.
In addition to anti-virus, you should also have anti-spyware software installed on your machine. I'm not sure if you have Norton Anti-virus alone or the full bundled software, Internet Security, that includes spyware.
I'm assuming you use Windows XP or Vista
Right now, first thing I would do is disable System Restore. Right-click on your My Computer icon and choose Properties. If you don't see My Computer, then go to Control Panel and open up System.
Click on the Restore tab. Check the box that says to turn off System Restore on All Drives.
Run another scan, if Norton finds anything make sure it was removed and deleted.
Then restart your computer.
It is important to turn off system restore, because many viruses take advantage of it and place a copy of themselves there, so even after removal, System Restore will bring it right back again.
Worst case, is backing up yoru files - like your Desktop files, My Documents, etc to CD or thumb drive, and reinstalling Windows. That is a sure fire way to get rid of any virus or spyware on your machine if it is rather riddled with it and removal from Norton doesn't improve things.
Hope this helps!

There's no guarantee. It depends on whether kaspersky's virus definition already contains the trojan you have. There is NO anti-virus software that can completely protect you from viruses. The problem is that anti-virus is always behind the virus. They can't protect against it until they know about it. Try kaspersky. If it doesn't work, you'll have to uninstall and try a different one until you find an anti-virus that knows about the trojan you have.

Anti virus can remove the virus but what about the damaged that already done? Sometimes can, sometimes can't. You can go the norton threat center and find info about the virus, they will tell you steps to fix it

Well ... isn't that pretty exactly what an anti-virus program is supposed to do? Norton is certainly one of the better programs, though I prefer AVG; if you want to prevent viruses from entering your system, you need a so-called "fire wall", as most anti-virus programs can detect only viruses that are within reach of their scan, i.e., your computer.

To check if your PC is safe and clean is easy - use online scanner. Nothing to install, just a compact signature database.

Each such service gives you an idea of what Norton misses or not. Another check will never hurt ;)

Use some other software also. Norton, AVG , Avast are free antivirus software. Ad-aware, Spybot, Ewido are free spyware removers. You can download free softwares at http://fixit.in/antivirus.html and http://fixit.in/spywareremover.html . You can also run a free registry scan using utilities from http://re7.info/

Re boot & run your scan again to see if your Trojans is back.
If it is back turn off system restore re boot in safe mode & run your AV then re boot if clean turn on system restore.
Trojans like to hide in system restore.
