Why is it that when toothpaste always comes out of the tube it always comes out in straight lines?

I've always wondered why this happens, whenever i'm brushing my teeth with toothpaste such as Aquafresh the lines are always straight and parallel to the tube when i squeeze it. Never all mixed up. Why does this happen? =/

They have little chambers of dye in the neck area of the tube so that the stripes are "painted on" as the toothpaste squeezes out. Cut the tube open when it's empty and you'll see.
