Best Graphics Card Under 400$?

Yeah i bought my pc about 3 months ago from best buy..sadly it included a terrible graphics card. So now i have a job and a little cash flow coming in and im wondering...What would be the best graphics card i can buy for around 300-350$

I'm looking to play allot of "sim" games, escpecially the newer ones but at the same time i would like a card that would at least have a good year of worth before its completely absoulete (also one that can smoothly run the new elder scrolls game)

i would by an nvidia card probably a 8600GT or 8800 as these are two of the best ones made by them, they can play nearly every game out with no jumpyness, www.ebuyer.com sell them for under 400$ Good Luck

Sims games are not exatly Crysis so yes, i think a 9600GT for 149$ or a radeon 3850 for only about 119$ would outclass those sims games for certain. You do not need 400$ to play the sims. Trust me. The 9600GT and the 3850 are both great cards, the 9600GT especially will last you quite a while. Both cards can play oblivion in case you wanted to know with most settings maximized.
