Tokay Geckos originate from Asia. The reptile is nocturnal. The cage temperature should remain at least 80 degrees. An under tank heater is a must. If this doesn't provide the warmth needed, then add a Reptile Night Heat Bulb. Tokay's like a nice hiding spot, such as a hollow log. Excessive uneaten crickets in the cage will stress this reptile which is arboreal. Mist daily but don't keep the cage too moist.

    10 gallon tank= 60-75 watt night light.

All lizards % UV lighting fixtures - like plant becoming lighting fixtures fixtures, they arrive in bulb - which additionally provides warmth & would desire to be on dimmer switches, on no account on plastic cages...they're going to soften the cage & probably seize hearth & tubed - cool including no warmth !!! Take Care :)

They do not need lighting- they are nocturnal and do not bask.

However, they do need a heat source of some type.
