I think I need help with CGI scripts, to remit online club dues.?
I wish to learn CGI to back up an HTML form, I know some HTML but do not know where to start with CGI, too many missing ingredients.

Are you sure you want CGI?
You could use Paypal for payments and creator.zoho.com to build embedded forms.
You can also usually use HTML via a credit card gateway processor, which does not require server scripting.
You would only need the CGI if you have your own database and are adding features.
