I know Pits can be sweet, loyal, loving pets.

My daughter has two females, inside pets, that have been raised with children since they were 8 weeks old. The childrens ages are 7 & 5 years old & the Pits are about 61/2 & 5 years old.

Nice video & oh so true.

Thats always what i have thought. I was raised with a pit bull who was my second mommy i loved her to death. Unfortunately the media got to someone who caused her unfortunate end.

Its terrible what people do to these A.P.B.T. They are wonderful dogs who are sweet loving and just the best dogs in the world. They are loving sweet and loyal.

A.P.B.T are actually only responsible for less then 25% of yearly dog attacks. All the attacks are caused by starvation, containment, aggravation, and bad training. People really need to open their eyes and see the truth. Did you know that the Michigan SPCA wont adopt out A.P.B.Ts even if their temperament is perfect? So if they rescue a loving A.P.B.T they have to put it down regardless. Its terrible.

Actually, it is what I think :)

Another statistic you might like to research for your video is the comparison of dog bites by breed - pits don't exactly top the list of biters.

You mentioned the little rascals dog - isn't the Target dog also a pit?

That is the ONLY thing anyone SHOULD think when they think of an American Pit Bull Terrier.

    Yes.

As with any breed, it's usually not the dog that is the problem - it's the owner.

There are certain breeds that need an "alfa" owner. If you aren't prepared to fill that spot, look for a more submissive breed. There are plenty of breeds to choose from.

  • That was the sweetest thing i've ever seen...thanks for opening my eyes alittle more about this beautiful breed.

  • i love pitbulls it's all on how they are raised and a lot of them have very immature and stupid owners and the poor dog has to pay for it
