Being upright and lucid for 2 hours a day means a person can't work-

I have been there-those 2 hours are needed for eating and other activities of daily living-

so don't be offended by the first poster that said since you have 5 minutes to type a question-you can work.

i know a man that is profoundly physically disabled-he uses his left hand to manipulate a joystick for communication-he would like to get a paying job-but hasn't been able to find one-he is working on writing poetry with teh hopes of becoming a published author-but for all intents and purposes he is diabled and unable to work-he does volunteer a couple hours a day ....

if you can work just a little-you are allowed to make some income while of ssdi-i think it is about 900/month-but don't quorte me on that-

have you called your county socisla services for things like food stamps/energy assistance

    Easy said, easy done.

Many people try to compares to each other but it nobody business.

What if you live in geographic location like a ghost town? Does that mean that disabled people find work there? Um... no.

Not every disabled including able disabled people (people who have slight limited disability but can still do other job) can work because of the certain circumstance.

Who can expect work in Michigan when it the highest unemployment rate?

Opening a business is great but what about the sales?

Is people taking pity of you in order for you to have a successful business or are you being ignored and treated like a homeless? Been there done that.

I walk and escort my grandma, people from car yelled out "Get a job bum!". Very offensive even for me as an disabled person.

I tried running business and it doesn't work in my town especially when there people that doesn't care or spanish speaking people that doesn't know english in town.

So in conclusion, we have no knowledge of where you live to give better judgement in Yahoo Answers.

common pronounced, common achieved. many people attempt to compares to a minimum of one yet another in spite of the undeniable fact that it no one corporation. What in case you reside in geographic area like a ghost city? Does that recommend that disabled people discover artwork there? Um... no. not each disabled including able disabled people (people who've average restricted incapacity yet can nonetheless do different activity) can artwork by precise condition. Who can assume artwork in Michigan while it the optimum unemployment value? beginning a corporation is tremendous yet what with regards to the sales? Is people taking pity of you to establish which you to have a useful corporation or are you being omitted and dealt with like a homeless? Been there achieved that. I stroll and escort my grandma, people from motor vehicle yelled out "Get a job bum!". Very offensive even for me as an disabled individual. i attempted working corporation and it does not artwork in my city extraordinarily while there those that doesn't care or spanish speaking those that doesn't be conscious of english on the city. So in end, we haven't any wisdom of the place you reside to offer greater helpful judgement in Yahoo solutions.

The only way people get money in this world is welfare, insurance, and. or work. You are already getting SSDI - so you had better rethink the fact that you can't work. Very few people cannot work - you evidently typed this - used a computer - both evidence that you can work. Perhaps not full-time, perhaps only from home - but not at all? Unlikely.

ETA: When I say typed this - I mean she might have used a head pointer, mouth stick, or voice activation - but she somehow got her words online. That shows she is capable of some sort of employment.

I work part-time, primarily from home - it can be done. I like working from home because I can put in my time whenever I want - in 1 half hour segments if I am having pain filled day. Sometimes I make business calls while lying in bed.

cutting costs to the bone, get a tiny apartment or a one-room somewhere in a safe part of town. Make friends and share store coupons, pull your traveling with others who are going your way, get food stamps, keep in touch with family and friends, maybe buy your prescriptions at Walmart, etc.

You're welcome to check out the blog on my 360 page and see if anything on there works for you. I haven't gone thru a lot of them, some may be scams (don't pay for a job or a book to learn how to earn), some may or may not fit you. If you find anything strange on there let me know and I'll quickly remove it.
