Baby Shower gift ideas for the person that has it all?

This person did not do a registry and bought everything herself. I do not want to spend more than 200 dollars max. Any ideas please?

Update:

Something with meaning.....not diapers.

Does she have a name picked out? If so, how about a cute, personalized sign for the nursery that accents the décor? They have nice ones under "Personalized Art" at: http://www.mysweetandsour.com/ The artist is a mom. We received two for our twins: "Safari Adventures" for Brayden and "Express Train" for Bryan. I recommend the canvas ones. A little more expensive, but well within your budget and really nice.

My best suggestion would be to make a basket. For a baby shower I went to I bought a wicker basket and filled it with -diapers (2 packs of size 2 and size 3 diapers cause you can never have enough)

    -wipes

    -little toys

-clothes (2 outfits socks shoes etc)

    -bibs

    -a cute picture frame

    -baby book

    -piggy bank

    -blankets

    -gift card

This is just an idea but the stuff listed above is reasonably prices and you can never have enough diapers wipes etc so I thought it would be nice and the basket is something the person can use for other things like storing toys etc.

    hope this helps good luck

Well, since she 'has it all' already, why not just get clothes and/or toys that you think are cute for the baby - Things that are cute but not really necessary. You can also get some diapers and formula too because you can never have enough of those for a baby. You can also get like a gift certificate to have professional photos done of the baby - not sure if that would be within the $200.00 limit, though.

    Have fun at the shower!

anything the baby will need. especially clothes, diapers, and blankets.

you can NEVER have too many clothes. Also, if you see a cute outfit/shirt/pants/dress/whatever and its going to be too big for the newborn, BUY IT ANYWAYS. The kid's gonna have to have something to grow into and wear as they get older. It never hurts to be prepared that way. Plus, clothes are relatively cheaper than gift cards, or toys. Just don't go overboard with the sizes that are too big. some of each work well.

Source(s): bought gifts for way too many baby showers

They can always use diapers and wipes. Or, maybe write a check to the baby's college fund. That $200 will be a lot more in 18 years!

The fact that you're going to "keep the peace" and be the "bigger person" but you still want to tick her off by getting her a gift she doesn't like just screams catty and passive-aggressive and looks like you just want to seem like the bigger person, without actual being that. Just my $0.02. Anyway, to actually answer your question, noisy toys are good, but better for when the kid is older and can actually play with them. I suppose you can get an ugly outfit or frame or something. Maybe a picture of yourself for the baby's room. That would tick anybody off. Just don't get anything that will actually be dangerous or bad for the baby.

Diapers are all ways good. and get different sizes and include a gift receipt in case it is not the brand she wants. Savings bond for the baby we got a few of these. Or if you are close you can make a cupon book of free babysitting you will do for her

    I’ll have to suggest www.creanta.com

They turn any image, including your favorite photograph into an amazing and affordable hand made painting.

Maybe one of her and her husband?

What I liked of them is that they at reeeeaally good at capturing the physical likeness. Not to mention very, very affordable (they even combine multiple photos into a single painting or enhance your original photo at no extra charge). I was very impressed with the results.

In addition to portrait paintings they also do paintings of pets, landscapes and anything that means something to you (like your first car, favorite vacation spot, etc).

They’re the nicest people… because I was late with my friend’s gift, they even hand made a custom card to notify her that a special gift was coming her way. I highly recommend them.

    Best wishes!!

you can never have enough diapers.. i think ive gone through about 60 diapers in 2 weeks... you could get different sizes from newborn to toddler that way she has backups... also a gift card is nice cuz she may THINK she has everything she needs but she may be surprised when the baby comes and she realizes everything she forgot or didnt get enough of.

why not give her a gift card===get a few things like baby powder, baby oil, maybe a rattle, and baby wipes, put them in a little basket or something and have the card in an envelope in with the things. Then she can use it for what she really wants or needs.
