What's with this Gino Castignoli guy?

The man who buried the Ortiz jersey said he hated the Yankees because (and I'm paraphrasing here) they are like big business in America. Um...he DOES know he's a Red Sox fan, right? That's like saying, I'm not shopping at Wal-Mart because they are ruining the mom and pop stores, so I'm going to shop at Target instead. The Red Sox and Yankees are practically equals. If he likes the underdog so much, why isn't he a Royals or Rays fan?

btw...nice curse, Ortiz is now hitting .070 this year!

...and before you start, I'm an Indians fan and an equal-opportunity hater for both Yanks and Sox!

I think the guys is a moron for doing it and the Yankees are three times the morons for digging it up!!!! Spend that money getting more HGH or better players!!

Oh and Yankee fans don't get too excited about the money, I'm sure the Red SOx will bail him out for the publicity it has brought their team so he won't pay a dime!!!

He's an idiot from the Bronx (God, I wish we could move the stadium) who probably just decided to become a Sox fan after the won the Series and bought that jersey after he had the witty idea one day. He's probably never even seen Boston from a map, let alone the inside of Fenway. The guy's a joke, plain and simple.

    He's a joke.

He saw an opportunity to become a hero in Red Sox Nation and he jumped on it. Hearing him speak makes me laugh. It will be fun paying off the cost of removing the jersey with his salary i'm sure.

worst part for Gino is that he forgot to unlist his telephone number, so its not hard to find his address and phone number online, plus looks like the Yankees have a civil case against him. They have witnesses who have 1st hand knowledge of him doing this, and the removal and repairs are estimated at $50,000. I hope he's got the cash laying around!

This activity could possibly have caused structural weakness in the area where the shirt was. There are very strict guidelines concerning concrete pours. A little time in the Bronx slammer might do the jerk some good.

Well said. I think he cursed Ortiz as well. BTW I'm also an Indians fan. GO TRIBE!!!!
