Oh, I agree with her. In fact, I don't think it ever went anywhere. I watched for years while the Republicans spent over $100 million trying to prove something, anything, against Hillary and Bill Clinton. They failed miserably, yet they act now as though they actually proved something. They call her a criminal, when they never put together enough evidence to even get an indictment. They spread soundly debunked nonsense such as Foster's death, Black Panther connections that were nothing but a law student padding her student resume, call her a socialist, claim she is in bed with China, it just goes on and on. The best thing about it is that they have never, but never, pinned her to the wall. But they are still so bloated with their accusations, provable or not, that they think they can sink her in the general by bringing up this garbage again. Except she isn't John Kerry, or Obama, or anyone else that they have found, and will find, easy to bully. People remember the failure of the Republicans to nail her down to the scandals they themselves dreamed up and now call hers. When they are asked for proof they will have no more evidence than they did the first time around and folks remembering the swiftboating of John Kerry will be waving them away like flies at a picnic.

EDIT: Her critics love to point out that she said this about the rumor of Bill and Monica. Trouble is, they fail to mention she felt that way because she'd been hounded by these bozos for years on end. If I was put through what they put her through I probably would have intially thought it was more of their hijinks too.

However it's ironic to hear her complain about it shortly after she placed a right wing attack on Obama regarding his bitter comment. Wrong, almost Republican move. Obama was right but apologized because he's too much of a politician to stick to his better judgment over the pressure of the corporate media and loud right wing fringe, Clinton attacked him like a Republican. Not too impressive
