So, all the frogs suddenly dying off was due to a fungus, not climate change. What about the bees?
Batrachochytrium dendrobatidis, a 'chytrid' fungus has been killing the frogs, not global warming.
Is it similarly likely that something else is killing the bees, too? Or are the bee die-offs more a matter of beekeepers' hives than bees in the wild?
6 AnswersConservation1 decade agoWhy does the American Census recognize only one ethnicity?
It's 'Hispanic,' in case you're wondering. If you primarily identify with the language and culture of any country or people who don't speak spanish or aren't in the western hemisphere, you're 'non-Hispanic.'
Isn't it nice to know that Belgians, Persians, Kenyans, and Tibetans are all the same Ethnicity? Why, the world is just one big happy family!
...
Would people be OK with the Census if the only choices under race were 'white' and 'non-white?'

Obama is famously half-Kenyan, and his father wasn't and never became a US Citizen.
Is he the first?
(It makes no difference, Constitutionally, one American parent's all you need.)
As a follow-up, how many 'Firsts' does Obama represent?
He's the first Kenyan-American president,
The first president from the State of Hawaii,
etc...
what's it add up to?

A good question, but one that, aparently, someone doesn't want me to answer, or even view.

3 AnswersOther - Politics & Government1 decade agoNow that it's been blocked, Amnesty is Bush's immigration bill?
It was Kennedy's bill when it had a chance of passing.
Don't get me wrong, Bush supported it enthusiastically and deserves the further loss of aproval. But it was Kennedy and McCain that cobbled it together behind closed doors and introduced it.
7 AnswersPolitics1 decade agoCould 9/11 'truth'/conspiricy theories be based on fear?
Isn't it a little more comfortable to believe that 9/11 was carried out by a group of political conspiritors that can simply be voted out of office?
