Melted plastic?
How do you get melted plastic from a grill from a convection oven, and how do you clean the bottom of the oven from it. The plastic was a microwavable dish.
The oven is not only electric, but self cleaning, would that help?
It wasn't in the oven that long. Maybe only ten minutes, but the grill is a mess.
Dad was in a hurry and mstakenly put it in the oven.

If the plastic is brittle, and depending on your convection oven finish, you could use a plastic spackling scraper. maybe try some wd40 to spray around the edges and maybe it would come off. DO NOT use wd40 near open flame or intense heat.

THE WORD WAS OR IS "MICROWAVABLE".WHY DID YOU USE IT IN THE CONVECTION OVEN IN THE FIRST PLACE? I USE A DULL THIN KNIFE CAREFULLY. THEN FOR THE FINALE I USE S.O.S. THIS IS A FINE STEEL WOOL WITH DETERGENT IN IT. AND LOTS OF PATIENCE. GOOD LUCK.
