Is Philadelphia the team to beat next year?

I see, hmm. Last in INTs last year (6 time pro bowler 5 time all pro best DB of our time the Ed Reed stomper Brian Dawkins was out due to family issues, hmm two time all pro two time pro bowl CB Lito sheppard out) So...we sucked. But now our D is charged and so is McNabb he doesnt need a #1 WR to make it to the pro bowl or be a 3 time all pro hes done it his whole career. Philadelphia the team to beat. Asante is gonna kkil as will Dawks. Look for Brown and Curtis to be atop WR rankings and McNabb to be #1, aint no other QB like him. Hate him or love him but the UNDERDOG IS ONE TOP PHILLY FOR 2008 NO OTHER TEAM HAS OUR HEART!!

They are definitely the team to enjoy beating. Of course, Mcnabb will claim it's because he's black that we enjoy watching him lose so much. Have I mentioned how much I despise Philly? They are an embarrassment to the entire division. The only ones to never win a Superbowl! Come on you losers, step it up.

I think you're jumping the gun a bit....

The Eagles are indeed underrated coming into this season, but they are not the team to beat. They still could use a #1 wideout, but more importantly, they need to force turnovers and increase their red zone production. They were 6th in offensive yards, but 17th in points last year. That means our drives were stalling without putting the ball in the endzone, and we didn't have the advantages of getting the ball with a short field off of turnovers. I think a lot of this had to do with playcalling. I couldn't even count the number of times we'd be moving the ball, focusing mostly on our running game (what our offensive line is best at), and then suddenly throw 4 times in a row and have to punt. Stick with it Andy! If Westbrook needs to be spelled, we have Buckhalter for a reason! I also think the fact that we were missing LJ Smith hurt us much more than people realize. He honestly is the third best receiver on the team (to Curtis and Westbrook lol). Our depth at offensive tackle makes me somewhat nervous, as we all saw what happens when Winston Justice lines up on the left side (you're welcome for your pro bowl spot osi). Justice can play on the right (he's no Runyan, but he's servicable). He simply cannot line up on the left as he struggles with speed rushers.

We cut some deadweight on the defensive side of the ball, and hopefully we'll actually get some pressure from our defensive ends besides Trent Cole. Our young linebackers need to develop quickly as well, and we need more gamechanging plays.

With a healthy team, I see no reason why we won't make the playoffs, but we're hardly considered the team to beat this year. I actually love the fact that we're underrated, and I think it will benefit us. Look for us to finish around 10-6 and be in the hunt for the division (although I don't think we will win it).

oh god yeah they're the team to beat. Eagles are like no other team... they can take the best of the best to distances never seen before. EX: Patriots of last year. Eagles were the first team to give the Patriots a hard time last year.

Eagles will enter the Super Bowl and exit defeating the New England Patriots.

It's a shame the Eagles couldn't sign Randy Moss over the off-season. Now the Eagles will finish 9-7 at best if all can keep healthy.

Week 10 against the Skins or Week 12 against the Colts. They next play Saints, Bucs, Jags, and Titans, none of which will pose lots of achieveable. Or the Bears interior the playoffs! ;)

If Philly loses 1 guy ;they will be a 2-14 team ;Westbrook goes down ,the Eagles will be fighting for 1 st pick 2009...How good do your Eagles look now?

They'll be .500 and miss the playoffs. McNabb can't play a whole year and that defense will be average. Wake up.
