Should I buy the Roof Boxer V helmet?

They meet the European safety standard, but they are not DOT certified. Since there are no helmet requirements in Indiana that should not be an issue. It looks like it would be practical. Can you find a distributor in the US so that you can try one out?

I guess just go for it. I have paid as much for bigger disappointments. It is probably worth it if nothing else to be different.

Roof Boxer V

Yes, I have a Roof Boxer Helmet and I love it! It took me some time to get it as I called right before they went on their month long holiday (August, I think) a couple of years ago but it finally came.

I use an Arai Signet as my main and the Roof as my summer/short trip helmet. I am surprised how much I find myself wearing it in full face configuration, thought. I kinda feel naked without the total coverage, but it does feel good to flip it up on a hot day or short ride.

A friend recommened it to me a few years ago, and I was amazed how quickly it worked, which is why I recommend it to others. The dog training academy also has as an excellent home training course.

See if you can dig up the safety test results for these helmets. Since they're customs, I highly doubt anybody in the forums stateside has used one or knows much about them.

They do look cool though.
