f(x) = 2x-5
ff(x) means plug "f(x) =" into where the x is in the equation.
ff(x) = 2(2x-5)-5
ff(x) = 4x - 10 - 5
ff(x) = 4x - 15
An x intercept is the point on the graph where y = 0.
Let y = 0.
0 = -6x + 10
6x = 10
x = 5/3
So the point of X intercept would be (5/3, 0)

The x intercept is just where the line crosses zero. So make y in the equation zero and solve for x.
y=-6x+10 evalute at y=o
0=-6x+10
6x=10
x=10/6=5/3

Part I: f(x) = 2x -5
f(2x - 5) = 2(2x - 5) - 5
= 4x -10 - 5
= 4x - 15
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Part II: Solve this equation in terms of x instead of y...
y = -6x + 10
y - 10 = -6x
(y - 10) / -6 = x
Therefore, the x intercept of this equation is (y - 10)/ -6
