Does iPhone require a 2 year contract if I'm with AT&T already?

I'm shopping for new phones and was wondering how that works with the iphone if I'm already an at&t customer in contract.

    yes it resets you current contract back to two years

    Yes, the iPhone does require a 2 year contract.
