tax rebate?
I already submitted my tax return in Feb. Do i need to file another return to get the rebate? (eg 1040A, or 1040?)

No. You just need to have filed a 2007 return...regardless of when you filed it.

As long as you filed by April 15, you do not have to do anything to receive the tax rebate. Assuming you chose direct deposit for your refund, your rebate will also come via direct deposit. The rebate pay schedule is based on the last 2 digits of your Social Security Number. I have included the pay schedule below.
Last two SSN digits: Payment will be transmitted:
00 through 20 May 2
21 through 75 May 9
76 through 99 May 16
Hope this helps!

To get a rebate check, you must file a tax return; either a form 1040 or 1040-EZ federal tax return for tax year 2007.
Persons who do not normally not file tax returns, like retirees and disabled veterans, will have to file a 2007 tax return in order to get a rebate check.

No. If you filed a 2007 return, the government should have all the info it needs for your rebate.
