[DONT READ IF DONT BELIEVE IN MAGIC] Help! From professional witches, warlocks etc.?
Hello, i need some serious help! I would like to cast a 'wishing' spell. Something basic, nothing like wishing oil, and stuff. Something really easy to do, but however it will come true. I don't wish for anything bad, i wish for some character in a book to come to life. Unless you have any spells that might work like that. Please contact me, I DONT WANT ANYBODY WHO DOESN'T BELIEVE IN WITCHCRAFT, OR SUPER NATURAL STUFF TO ANSWER.
blessed be.
allright, then i guess just a wishing spell. =)

There are very few professional witches (those working as real psychics) and there are NO professional warlocks because that's not a term accepted in the community.
That shows you've not a clue about magic.
Someone else suggested that you do a spell to draw the CHARACTERISTICS of the fictional character, not the character. Do you realize that no fictional character can be presented in-depth enough to be a full fleshed out human in real life? What I mean is - how much DO you know about, say, James Bond? Where he grew up, went to school, served in the military? How did he hook up with MI-6? Does he prefer blondes over red=heads, etc.
Draw what you're wanting into your life, ceremonial magicians have tried for centuries to create life out of statues and inanimate objects with no results or results that left them bitter and empty.
Focus on reality and real people, not fictional characters.

Hi There --
First, you need to understand that spellcraft is NOT something a novice can just suddenly pick up and try.
Magick requires a carefully trained mind, imagination, and Will, besides a clear understanding of magickal ethics, and other considerations. It is actually an advanced skill, which requires the mastery of several other beginning skills, such as Meditation, Centering, Grounding, psychic cleansing, shielding, visualizations, casting sacred space, etc.
It would be very unwise for you to attempt spellcraft without first learning, if not mastering, these basic, beginning skills.
Now, you could certainly try to use "wish-craft" -- that is, focus your mind and will upon your "wish" --
But for more serious (Wiccan) spellcraft, i would be happy to recommend some good resources for getting started.
BTW -- the term "Warlock" is mostly a Hollywood thing. It is beleived to come from words that meant "Oath-breaker"; therefore few authentic witches would use the term to refer to themselves. It's mostlly used by wannabees or charlatans who want to impress others, but know very little about authentic magick or witchcraft.
Blessings --

Hmmm....Calling a Witch a warlock is an insult (just so you know). Unless you know what you are doing with spell casting I strongly suggest you dont do it. Start with someone who is experienced and learn what you need to know first. Otherwise its exactly like someone else answered here, You will get what you wish for which more times than not is NOT what you intended or want.

Ok, I'm a pagan, done a few spells in my time, but a spell to make a character in a book come to life? Are you serious?
That's not what magick's about.
Now, if you were wanting to evoke an entity and have it do your bidding, that at least has definite rules and methods to follow. but to actually bring a fictional character to life? I don't think so. If it was, a lot of us would have incarnated Lara Croft a long time ago. Oh ya, Angelina Jolie IS Lara Croft!
And btw, to summon an entity, isn't an "easy" thing to do. You can't just read some line out of a book and "poof"!, have it happen like on "Charmed". Sorry.

Professional implies we make a living off of it - you do realize this. I don;t make a living off of it- I run a store instead.
As for your wishing spell - you don't need anything but your strength of will, and perhaps an image of the character you wish to bring to life as your focus.
Word your wish to be precise and conscise - because if you aren't, you will get exactly what you wish for, and that's not always what you really want.
But YOU have to write it - I have no clue as to what character, etc and what you expect to get from it - only you know this.
Something to think about -do you really want that specific character, or do you want a real person with the same characteristics to come into your life? Think long and hard about that before you act, remembering thar characters of fiction are fleeting, and tend to be static - you will be bored very soon.

Candle Spell
choose a candle closely associated to your wish (color), write down what it is you want, light the candle and focus on your wish, then take the paper you wrote your wish on and light it in the flame until it has completely burned away then to bind your spell say
I call on earth to heed my spell. Air to speed its passage well. Bright as fire shall this spell glow, deep as tide of water flow. By my will this spell be done.
then blow out the candle

spells don't create something out of nothing. they are a way of focusing your mind on a goal and manipulating energy to HELP you acheive your goal. pick up a legitimate book on magic and put away the harry potter dvd's.

i dont beleive humans can control such energy.....especially someone who cant find that charicter in the book who is possibly living right now,did you even try to look?
