Why does Obama deny that he speaks Jive ?
The article began, "It can be painful to hear Ivy League-bred Barack Obama talk jive."
Obama told me he doesn't speak jive, that he doesn't say the words "homeboy" or "peeps."
It seemed so silly; I thought for sure he was joking.

they already met and I'm certain that the accent of the TOTUS didn't sound that foreign, even to well-heeled German and Italian speakers. Michelle knows her Italian; did you not see the lovely patent handbag in Russia? Obama doesn't accent "jive" except when he chooses to in order to patronize an audience. same with his occasional "MLK Selma-Southern" accent, and the "Pah-kee-staahn" special. Not sure which accent the MUSS (Megaphone, United States Senator) had in Kenya, but it was red-orange in colour. Around the inauguration red and black (even for children) was all the excitement, but looks like Green is the in-color for everyone now.

I doubt he does speak jive, any more than John, the gigolo, Kerry, thinks Rap is fascinating.
