1998 Ford Explorer Power Window Switch, driver door?

I have a 98 EB Ford Explorer. The car wash folks got a little over zealous on cleaning the controls and broke/popped the control out on the drivers door, the central panel. Its there but hanging down and trying to slip down. It still works but its a pain.

I found a few junk yards online that sell the part, but I'm wondering can I replace that part by buying a new one and snapping it in (in the snap isn't broke) or do I have to replace more than just the switch, like possibly door arm panel?

TIA

Use a foaming engine cleanser in the latch first. even as they're that previous the mechanisms get especially dirty and grimey. (My ninety six Mustang does no longer enable me in, the door locks does no longer turn! I bumped off them and then wiped clean them and popped them again in, which required eliminating the door panels) After the foaming engine cleanser, then you definately can oil them with a good oil. i for my area use motor oil on my hinges, seems to very last more. conversing of hinges, is there a scrape alongside your door sil? if so, your hinge pins/bushings ought to correctly be wearing out (occurs a lot on 2 door fords, i'd comprehend) making the door hit the sill particularly than the position this is meant to bypass. replacing the pins and bushings facilitates the baggy door situation.
