  • Setting up media center?

We have a Samsung HL67A750 that the more I read the more I find out this awesome TV can do, so now I'm looking at setting up a media center. I wanted to setup a NAZ drive over wireless and maybe Media center with it.

?'s are: does having a media center wireless affect the playing movie? slow it down/any buffering?

would I simply connect a wireless AP to the tv?

if I don't use a laptop with vista media center and I want to control the whole thing from the tv, how would that work? how would the network drive serve the files and how would they appear on the tv? I'm trying to avoid the movies coming in a "raw" file format - looking for something a young child can manage.

purchased but not installed Logitech Harmony 1000. How would that interact?

  • If you haven't filed taxes??

I just found out that my friend has not filed taxes for 3 years!! She signed up with one of those tv ad spots for negotiating your taxes and they charged her an arm and a leg and haven't done anything yet. I searched the net and found horror stories about these places online, but not a good story on any of them.

My question is, is their a reputable company that can handle tax issues for taxing states (moved between states)? My first thought was to find a local tax attorney, but again..how much do they know and are they qualified to be negotiating 3 years of taxes?

From all I've read this has to be done right the first time and there is no do-overs with the IRS once something is agreed upon. Just worried she's going to get raked over the coals by this.

  • Can you tell me that trachea issues there are with English bulldogs when they go under anesthesia.?

Specifically I am looking for information for the procedures that should be followed and areas of caution, like size of tube per size of dog, health concerns that a English bulldog should not be put under anesthesia, and the general concerns of working on the English bulldog breed.

What are things in this breed that could go wrong given that the breeds medical care is so specialized as it is.

  • bathroom remodel: looking for faucet?

I'm redoing my master bath and I have always wanted a faucet that poured the water over the top of the faucet, rather than out a spout. I've only seen faucets like this a few times, anyone know of a vendor or site that has something like this?

  • 1998 Ford Explorer Power Window Switch, driver door?

I have a 98 EB Ford Explorer. The car wash folks got a little over zealous on cleaning the controls and broke/popped the control out on the drivers door, the central panel. Its there but hanging down and trying to slip down. It still works but its a pain.

I found a few junk yards online that sell the part, but I'm wondering can I replace that part by buying a new one and snapping it in (in the snap isn't broke) or do I have to replace more than just the switch, like possibly door arm panel?

    TIA
