Setting up media center?
We have a Samsung HL67A750 that the more I read the more I find out this awesome TV can do, so now I'm looking at setting up a media center. I wanted to setup a NAZ drive over wireless and maybe Media center with it.
?'s are: does having a media center wireless affect the playing movie? slow it down/any buffering?
would I simply connect a wireless AP to the tv?
if I don't use a laptop with vista media center and I want to control the whole thing from the tv, how would that work? how would the network drive serve the files and how would they appear on the tv? I'm trying to avoid the movies coming in a "raw" file format - looking for something a young child can manage.
purchased but not installed Logitech Harmony 1000. How would that interact?
also:
I've picked a buffalo storage device to store the data for the media center and serve home files.
is there a good AV forum to get design ideas and information from to set this up - i'm sure there is an easier setup than what I have envision

I am holding off on Media Center PC for the following reasons...
1. The PC audio out cannot pass Dolby true HD or DTS master
2. You can only use Analog inputs for video for DVR. The so called "onboard" solutions don't work well. High def video.... Not gonna happen....
Here is the best source of information.

You should check out some of hauppaugee's products, just google "Hauppaugee" they have internal and external televison and DVR cards for you computer. Instead of using a laptop I would recommend a Dell optiplex desktop, Fortune 300 companies to 100 companies use them in there businesses and call centers, they are very easy to work on and have a great track record.
