Life without God has no meaning or purpose???

Um... that's not a question but a rant in the form of a question.

Some bug got into your bonnet, m'dear. You'd best get a fly-swatter to kill it... because if you don't SOMEONE is going to report you for a RANT.

Besides... who said YOU HAD to have a meaning or purpose to YOUR life? What skin off MY nose is it if you screw your life away? Am I my brother's keeper?

I really do not know the answer to this. They have given their lives away for nothing. It is very dangerous, when a large group of people are completely in the control of a small group of people ANYTHING can happen. I think indoctrination as a child gives most children their christianity which they cling to as part of their cultural safety net. The older `born agains` I would guess, are mostly caught by the churches at a `difficult` time in their lives and then indoctrinated using many different psychological techniques. We have a psychologist or two in our family, one who specialised a while ago on `programming` and it really is not that difficult. I was brought up as a christian and after some study I saw through it, but, how on Earth you can help those trapped in the evil web of religion I really do not know. They are too indoctrinated to understand that it is all `********`. You cannot give knowledge to people if they do not want to learn and christianity turns off the `knowledge` and `learning` switches at source and then removes the fuse. All you get from them is `Bible says, so it must be right` and they will swallow anyones interpretation of those words to explain the `problem` of the day, hook, line and sinker. The danger to human life on our planet that such an extremely well controlled non-thinking group could pose is almost inconceivable.

Perhaps people don't "worry" as much as you think. I don't worry about my life having meaning and purpose, but I look for meaning and purpose to fulfill my life and help me grow. You certainly can live your life in any way you choose, but I notice that you do have a meaning and purpose. You said you live your life to have as much fun as possible. You seek out fun, you look for opportunities to have fun, and your life is defined by the amount of fun you have. The meaning and purpose of your life is fun. The meaning and purpose of other peoples' lives may be different, that's all.

Why do you care so much why other people love god no one is forcing you to. Everyone life including yours has purpose like it or not. I find peace in loving the lord and so do many others. So get over it.

You may think you are having fun now, when in reality you truly are not. People go from one thing to another and nothing satisfies them so they continue with I want it all and I will do it all.

When Jesus Holy Spirit lives in your heart you will find contentment and joy.

If you continue on in doing, there will always be a void within your heart. And this void is Jesus Christ, he is open 24/7 and will never refuse or be to busy to listen. Talk to Him He will listen!

I don't think any thinking person can truly enjoy a meaningless, purposeless existence. Your fun is your way of distracting yourself from thinking about it. Enjoying your life means keeping so busy you can't think about it.

I see people do this distraction business at funerals. They look at pictures, tell jokes, anything to avoid thinking about the reality of death.

For all sort of these questions, I have very limited understanding so Let me give you the point. Well, just try to know, what’s makes God as god, the Power, isn’t it? So what the power can do? Ah? Well, It can give the ability to organise all things and It can give the ability to separate everything and most importantly, the ability to control everything. Isn’t it? Isn’t it Good? Ah? So, what I try to say here is, from my hard study and effort with the help from god, I realized that the ability to control everything, the Power of God is gradually increased in the full amount to use so, The Power of God is always the omnipotent and existed among everything so the God now is always the same omnipotent, who is organised us So how could that be possible to be perfect in perfection always, Ah…? And The Power of God, the ability is the reward for us to control everything in a proper manner, like the true God of goodness.

So ~ LOVE IS THE ABILITY ~

We have to lift it up little by little towards Perfection. So

If you are humble, please... Pray to know the truth from true God by the inspiration of the Holy Spirit with great faith and do what is right for you and sometimes, things can be right in your point of view but wrong in Public point of view so

If you think, why so much trouble and pain in this world…? Then there is only one reason, without pain, No pleasure and without pleasure, no pain. So without them, we cannot enjoy this life so always we need them in our development towards the perfection of God. So-so, you use pain and pleasure instead of pain and pleasure use you. And

It is Wonderful… wonderful nature for us by the true… God. And

we all make mistakes so it is hard to look for star in daylight. So just in faith… it is possible. Like that the faith in true God. And If you think, even expert can be wrong then you have to make the fine research in all most everything so It is hard and some time, it is impossible to achieve so Why we need inappropriate action to find the owner of higher power? SO,

So, just try to understand, because of Lack of faith in true God, we do not have the great gift of understanding of things so just

We cannot get anything from nothing so changing something into this perfect state, we need something or someone so all things are spiritually first, to govern everything by God. So, closely, Have a look at this world of wonders of yours and then you know the truth, when you listen to your real voice and then Having a strong desire to do the best every day then stick with the best to do your best. And most importantly, try to be grateful for what you have now and try to know where you come from to have the great gift of understanding and then, have the faith to become the best winner in your life. And this is the best meaning of happy life.

The Low of mercy cannot rob the Low of justice so God provided the way to our salvation to overcome our sin so Jesus Christ sacrifice is much needed to return to live with God, because God is perfect in perfection so Jesus Christ is our savior to pay our punishment of our sin so-so Because of the perfect love of god for you. So God gave Jesus Christ for us ~ FOR US ~

This is a synopsis of a book written in 1955 by Meher Baba entitled "God Speaks", which explains the meaning of life.

Life is a journey that God is traveling.

The first phase of God's journey is evolution. It is initiated from a totally unconscious God as if an infinite Ocean of Knowledge, Power and Bliss were in a state likened to deep sleep. This unconscious God speaks the First Word "Who am I?". This question disrupts the limitless, undivided, absolute vacuum, and its reverberations create individualized souls, compared to drops or bubbles within the Ocean. By speaking the First Word, God establishes the process of Creation, in which he assumes evolving forms to gain increasing consciousness.

Individuality is the vehicle of this quest. Evolution marks a series of temporary answers to "Who am I?" The soul traverses a multitude of forms, beginning with simples gases and proceeding slowly through inanimate stone and mineral forms. These early evolutionary stages obviously have only the most rudimentary consciousness and cannot provide a satisfactory answer to God's original question.

The original query thus provides a continuing momentum for the drop soul to develop new forms each with greater consciousness, including the many plant and animal beings. Every evolutionary kingdom reveals new dimensions of consciousness and experience. Each also offers opportunities to gain different kinds of awareness. For example, when the soul identifies itself with varied species of fish, it experiences the world as a creature living in water conversely, as a bird, it enriches its consciousness by flying through air.

When the drop soul finally evolves to human form, consciousness is fully developed, but an individual is still not aware of the potential of his or her consciousness.

So the original "Who am I?" imperative persists and inaugurates the second phase: reincarnation. Since consciousness is fully developed, there is no longer a need for evolving new forms. The individual's experience, gathered in early stages of evolution, is now humanized and expressed in countless lifetimes. The impulses gained in sub-human forms can play themselves out in the broader context of intelligence, emotions, choices, diverse setting and interactions with people.

But obviously no single lifetime can bear the burden of "humanizing" the entire evolutionary inheritance randomly or simultaneously. There must be a method for re-experiencing the pre-human legacy in manageable segments. The soul thus experiences alternately a series of opposites, organized according to themes. Accordingly, in different lives, the soul becomes male and female, rich and poor, vigorous and weak, beautiful and ugly. Through exploring the potential of these many opposites, one eventually exhausts all possible human identities and, therefore, has fully learned the entire range of human experience.

Here begins the third phase: involution, the process by which the soul returns to the full awareness of the Divine Force, which created him. As Meher Baba puts it, "When the consciousness of the soul is ripe for disentanglement from the gross world (the everyday world of matter and forms), it enters the spiritual path and turns inward."

Like evolution, involution has certain states and stages, consisting of "planes" and "realms." But individuality continues along this spiritual path, and there are as many ways to God as there are souls.

Each new plane denotes a state of being that differs from the states that proceeded it. The first three planes are within the subtle world or domain of energy, "pran." There follows the fourth plane, the threshold of the mental world, where misuse of great power for personal desire can lead to disintegration of consciousness.

The fifth and sixth planes represent true sainthood, which is understood to be increasing intimacy with God as the Beloved. On the sixth plane, the mind itself becomes the inner eye that sees God everywhere and in everything. "The loving of God and the longing for His union," says Meher Baba "is fully demonstrated in the sixth plane of consciousness."

The seventh plane marks true and lasting freedom. Impressions go. Duality goes. The drops burst and again become the Ocean. God answers his question of "Who am I?" with "I am God." The Infinite has returned to the original starting point. He now knows, however, with full consciousness and full awareness that he was, is and always will be infinite with infinite Knowledge, Power and Bliss. And he realizes that the entire journey has been an illusory dream, the purpose of which is the full awakening of his soul.
