Why won't anyone hire me?

I have been desperately looking for a new job for about 1 year now, it's so hard because of the vast amount of competition in New York...please help me cause I need money to pay for school and I really want to take a summer class and that requires money

obviously you haven't learned anything in last year.

if what u are doing does not get u results - do something else.

go to any place that will hire u - cash in hand beats possible jobs.

remember pride will keep u broke and thin.

most successful people took 'nasty jobs' to become successful.

if jobs 'aren't available' get into selling.

oh , selling is everything and u do it every day. so don't say - it isn't for me.

Hi....sorry to hear! What type of work are you looking for? Do you have experience? I don't mean to be intrusive but how old are you? Unfortunatley it is discrimination but people tend to use this against you being in my 20's I have felt that.....also where in New York are you looking?

I find it hard to believe you cannot find any type of employment. Have you signed up with local temp agencies? Have you applied at all of the retail stores locally? Have you looked into employment at your school? Have you tried to babysit, mow lawns, provide courier services, etc? Have you visited your county's employment office? Have you went to your school's employment office for assistance with resume and interviewing skills?
