Ok here's my symptoms, does anyone know...?
What I have. My wrist is so sore and my thumb gets a tingleing feeling. It hurts when I pick up heavy objects, and if I bend my wrist. History- I used to play a lot of tennis, and now I do type a lot, I think I might have carpal tunnel> What can I do to help the pain go away, is this so serious I should see a doctor? Or can I help it by doing something else>
Thanks everyone for your imput! I know for sure that this is what I have, and am going to get a brace and make an appointment. I appreciate all of your advice.

It sounds like carpal tunnel. Start by modifying any activities that are stressing your wrist. Frequent breaks during your typing. Possibly a wrist support under your keyboard. Use heat and a wrist splint at night. Motrin and heat for pain and discomfort. If this doesn't work other modalities include steroid injections, physical therapy and possibly surgery. Your best bet is behavior mod.

They make braces for carpel tunnel syndrome. You can go to places like Walgreens to find them. They make them in different sizes and for the right and left hands. That and Motrin/Ibuprofen are the only things I've found that help mine other than surgery which at this point in time, I'm not interested in.

Sounds like you do have carpal tunnel. It doesn't go away on it's own. So I would say that you should see a doctor.

It does sound like carpel tunnels. I know that the way that we treat for it within my office is botox.

repetitive strain injury usually caused by using a computer a lot.If you do use a computer a lot take regular breaks.
