Why Benaras ghats are most charming stretch of ghat design?

Benaras ghats seem to me as a little edition of the whole of India....perhaps the whole of world, sometimes...why dont you all express your views?

    some ppl call it dirty

    but i love benaras ghats.

    its not just india not just world for me.. it life..

    i believe u felt that too

    i went there 3 times .. and i love spending time in ghats

    i walked all the ghats .. everyone ..

    its wonderful ..

    one thing i dont like there is the "designer arati"

    which is only to attract tourist..

    like an organised show..

    its artificial

    arti in haridwar is much bettter..

    If it was a place where you can stand and admire the beauty of the vast river rather than pollute with all kind of man made materials. Many more safety measures need be instituted to eliminate the loss of life at these places of pilgrimage.

    i love banaras ghats and they aRE the best because they belong to india....the most cultured country in this world!!!
