can anyone remember when there were two delivery's of mail?
stamps and every thing are expesive now but only One delivery a day and it is all ways later than when we had two deliverys.

Second post used to arrive about lunchtime, now the only post arrives about lunchtime.

no, but i'm a mailman if people knew what all goes into getting your mail to you then you would be more understading.every thing goes up the price of stamps helps the largest fleet in the world pay for gas....

They were the good old days.
Now we pay more for less service. What next? Placing our mail in homemade paper planes and throwing in the direction of the address?

yes i do ... it creeped away without knowing .. i guess they dont have as much post now their is the internet, fax machines etc
i think companies still have second post , but ive not known a houselhold to for years

yep due to email etc.
the GPO (post office) / government should have kept hold of British Telecom (thats who used to run it YEARS ago)
they were thinking of charging for emails.. i was WTF..
not like they could anyway, just send email via another country =)
