Hillary was working in politics since '72. All through the 70's and 80's she worked with governors and states across this country on women and children's issues. While Bill was gov. of Arkansas, you don't think he discussed things with Hillary, sought her advice. She also played a role in the White House, and has done a good job as senator. Being married no, being involved yes. Most first ladies are not as involved in the political process as Hillary was.

Eight actual years in the US Senate, serving on the armed services committee, and other major committees. As the first lady, Hillary was involved in numerous initiatives, esp. healthcare and education. She did more as first lady than Obama has in his entire life. Thanks to her, millions of poor children have health care. She was essentially a co-president, as the right wing said. You were in diapers so you wouldn't know.

Also, she is the brains behind Bill. All of the histories show this.

The whole thing between Hillary and Obama is just about over. I like Hillary (as a second choice), but really it's now down to Obama and McSame.
