Pentax K10d- can you shoot IR with it unmodified?

Was reading an article on a Pentax K100d super and it said that with the right filter you could shoot infrared with it.

Will the K10d do this as well?

Thanks.

Excerpted from a review of the K10D in the Aug. 2007 issue of Shutterbug, written by Joe Farace:

"With the proper filter, a Singh-Ray I-Ray infrared filter, I was able to capture near-infrared images with the K100D. The K10D appears to use a different imager or must have a built-in IR filter because the on-chip infrared response with the I-Ray produced a weak effect... "

Edwin is right. Most digital cameras have filters to block infrared light on purpose. Most people want true color visible light images and seeing anything else will just confuse them. If you want to shoot infrared, there are a couple of digital cameras from Fujifilm that will do it, as well as camcorders from Sony.
