why is he so distant when he's writing?
i've been with my partner for a few months now... we never bothered to count because we never made it official until one day i was like "can i call u my bf?"
and yeah...
the point is, when he's writing he becomes very very distant...
its like i'm not even there...
i'll come in and sit down and say hi, and he wont even blink...
i know that he still loves me and thinks of me every day because every day i find a new deep and meaningful poem about how much i mean to him...
i've spoken to him, and he says that he's pretty sure he'd notice me if i came in, but if he's negelected to say something he's sorry... and yet he keeps doing it...
i can walk into the room naked and he wouldn't notice...
i know he can't always pay me the attention i crave, but other than dinner thats basically the only time we really talk. he works all day, writes until late and then goes straigh to sleep.
=[ my heart is hurting... what can i do?

they said a pen is a writer's life and ink is their blood that runs in their veins... writer's pour their heart in words tru writing... you said your bf writes about his love to you...
he loves you... because if he's not, he will not include you on his arts...
maybe your bf is not a "showy type"... and he only express his self tru his poem... give it some times...
you are blessed... =)

Don't think nothing of it honey. It's not you at all. As you said you find deep and meaningful poems... Writer's and artist's alike tend to sink into their own world when they begin creating. It's just a way of being able to complete something without having to stop.
Think of it as a way of fighting off writer's block. If it's obvious to you he still loves you, then when you see he is writing just wait for him. Don't try to get his attention, let him finish.
Just remember it's nothing against you, he is just being a writer, and getting into his writing. Don't let if affect you so much.

Take some paracetamol. It's really effective for headaches, in my experience
