Verizon Wireless - discounted pricing vs. New Every Two?

You didn't say if you were on the new plans or the old ones, but the new every two allows for you upgrade your phone either 10 months into a 1 year contract or 20 months into a 2 year contract. The discount that they allow is based on the price of the basic service you have for the three consecutive months prior to the upgrade. I believe that if your basic service is $39.99 - $79.99, you get $50, and above $80 gets $100. This isn't based at all on the phone that you currently have... Verizon will allow you to use multiple discounts, so you really don't have to wait if you see a phone on sell, but if you do, then you will probably see an even greater discount...Don't purchase anything now, becuase they tend to come out with new phones every six months or so...

Definitely hold out. You get an extra $50 or $100 discount when your new every two comes up. And if you order online instead of going into the store you get even more of a discount. The only bummer about ordering online is that you have to wait a couple of days for your new phone. I've done it a few times already. I'd rather wait a couple days and get my phone for free!
