No, it proves California voters are fickle. Arnold promised to do several things once elected. He also promised that if he couldn't get them pushed through, he'd call a special ballot and put each item up for the voters to decide.

He did exactly what he said he'd do: he put his campaign items up to the voters, and they defeated each item by embarrassingly huge margins.

So Arnold figured, okay, I'll do what the voters want me to do and be a friggin' liberal. It's sad, but that's the way it happened.

Schwarzenegger stuck his neck out and the California voters left him hung out to dry. All it proves is that they only voted for him because he's a movie star.

California has been called the land of "fruits and nuts". Even the Republicans are liberal. Arnold is doing what the voters want. Isn't that what politicians do? He is pretty popular in California I hear.

Schwarzenegger is the greatest governor California has ever had. I absolutely love his policies. Compare them to those of Gray Davis, for instance. If circumstances were different, he'd make a good president too.
