I'm still wondering why McCain should get any votes, let alone mine.?
If he's been in politics so long.....that could mean...he just know how to play the game. And if you look at his voting record...he's flipped sides many times. Why? Could it be for lobbyist and the lure of money?

he's a hack politician, not a maverick. his longest stretch of voting against his own party came after he lost the nomination to bush in 2000. after jim jeffords left the party he got back in line like a good boy. he's bob dole version 2.0: a guy who hung around long enough to become the default nominee.

McCain is the only one who can work efficiently on both side of the political field. Leave it to McCain to listen to people and do the right thing. Or what is your offer? vote for one of the democrats and see one of those two geniuses (yes they know it all, can fix it all and have answers to it all ... wow! why need a government then huh?) impose their views on the rest of us? oh yeah because they know what WE need?
Give me a break will you! Obama has no idea on how he will make any changes ... but hey he is all for change! and Hillary knows it all and already has her first 100 days laid out. God forbid something would go wrong during the few days before she starts then she ll be forced to use an alternate plan that none of us ever heard of.
No but no thanks. McCain IS the safe and smart choice here. Don't you go giving our future in to the hands of some lose canon with no experience or one with ...way too much. neither is solvable.

It’s better to vote for someone that has been in politics for a very long time, that knows what they are doing, instead of voting for someone new, that has no clue where to begin once they are elected!! That’s why Carry was not elected 4 years ago, because if he did, then we would have been fighting the Iraqi war over here instead of over there in Iraq!! Vote who you want to vote for, but just make sure that you study each candidate’s history before you make your choice!! WORD!!

You are correct. I don't need that type of experience. He's too old for that job, too. Honestly, he is. We have everything we need in Obama. He won't be perfect, but you give that job to anyone and they won't be perfect. Obama's vibrant, intelligent, and is part of this new global world. He's just a great fit. The only person who fits the shoe.
McCain has faults, too, but since the soap opera's on the democrats right now, no one gets to hear about his many faults, mistakes, and his imperfect spouse. I'll send some reading your way...just another candidate.

He beats either of those dang liberals running as a donkey party candidate. Even if you're liberal, you have to admit that McCain is closer to the center and, thus, more electable.

I'm not crazy about McCain, but there is no doubt he is the most "Centrist" candidate that's come along in recent memory. If you want "unity" and bi-partisanship, McCain is your boy.
