best subwoofers that for 97 expedition ?

Hello, can tell you from many years of car audio installations, in a SUV it doesn't take much of a sub to get alot of noise, theres not a hole lot of difference between the two unless your getting into some real expensive equipment,If I where you id go with the 12's and if there to much you can always turn your amp down and still get a nice sound

wow.... this is a really open question. But IF I HAD a FORD Expedition and had a choice of 10" or 12" I'd go with two 12" subwoofers from Alpine or Kicker.

The advantage of the larger SUV [as compared to in trunk installs] is it will 'sound' louder in an SUV due to the subwoofers being in the cabin, not in an enclosed trunk.
