I need a very good diabetic recipie for dinner?
I have the basics of what most of us would buy in the stores: beef, pork, chicken, and a variety of fruits and veggies. I also have several pasta's and other staples. Got friends commign over monday and need a good recipie as she's a very bad diabetic. Please keep in mind - no sugar substitutes.

Try a recipe from the American Diabetes Assoc.

#1-Baked chicken,steamed broccoli and cauliflower, brown rice with almonds in it and fruit salad for dessert with cool whip.
Coffee, Tea, cookies.
#2-Broiled salmon,whole grain roll,salad with multi veggies and walnuts,green beans with toasted almonds.For dessert, fresh berries or cherries.
#3-Hamburgers on whole grain rolls,grilled mushrooms and onions,broccoli slaw, meringues and fruit - cut up.
