Is there an option for "word statistics" on Microsoft Word?
I'm aware the Apple computers have this application, but does anyone know if Microsoft Word is able to record the statistics of your word count, especially how many times you've used a certain word? THANKS!

There's two ways to find out the number of words in a Word document.
Properties
1. Click the File Menu and select "Properties".
2. In Properties, select the Statistics Tab and you'll see the number of words, spaces, etc. in your document.
The next method allows you to add a Word Count to your screen, so you can keep check it frequently like an odometer to see the number of words as you type.
Word Count
1. Click the Tools menu and select "Word Count."
2. A window will appear with the number of words, spaces, etc. in your document.
Tip: Do you want to include footnotes and endnotes in the summary? Check the "Include footnotes and endnotes" check box.
3. Click on the check box and Word Count will stay on your screen and you see an live update.
