In the kitchen:
1 teaspoon = 5 mL
1 tablespoon = 15 mL
1 cup = 8 fl oz = 237 mL
All measures are approximate, of course.
Obviously, You cannot measure weight in tablespoons etc. You can only measure approximate volume. For example, 1 teaspoon of some heavy material would weigh more than 5 grams. This is why You need a kitchen scale for weighing. The only material where 5 mL = 5 g is water.

a teaspoon is a measure of capacity not mass
the amount of mass that can fit in a teaspoon or a table spoon or a cup depends on density
therefore there is no universal conversion rate between grams and teaspoons
but heres an example, 5 grams of sugar = 1.19 teaspoons

5 grams is approx one teaspoon. 5 mL (one teaspoon) of water weighs 5 grams, so solid material may be slightly less than a teaspoon but it is close enough.

Depends what you're measuring of course, but I'd say it's in the neighbourhood of a tablespoon.
