How do I get cable in my room?

I don't have any way to get cable into my room. I know that we drilled a hole in my brother's room to split the cable into his room, but I have no idea of how to go about putting it into my room . Whare are my options and what are approximate prices?

you can find where the wire is coming out of his wall and put a splitter with a new coaxial cable back to your room. however i cannot be sure of how to go about this because every house is set up differently, for the materials it would come to about 20 dollars if it will work with your house layout (not including installation labor if an electrician has to install it). only other way is to go wireless with a wireless cable sender/reciever, this is one of the many http://www.x10.com/products4/overture/wireless_vid... they can range anywhere from 50 dollars to 200
