I don't want to pay for her dinner!?

Previously, and not to long ago, I read a question on "Yahoo Answers" that said that the man did not like paying for his date's dinner given the advancements of feminism. This man did not say that he was willing to be in the passanger's seat half the time the couple was going to take rides together. He did not say that he was willing to take half of her maternaty leave. He did not say that he was willing to alternate the days to miss work as a result of the child's illness. He did not say that he would advise his wife to work as much overtime as him. And, he did not say he was willing to do half of the chores and cook half of the meals of the week. But, did he need to? Did he imply that he sees himself as an equal and thus is willing to do the equal work it takes to have a successful relationship?

It sounds like a man who any woman in her right mind would run from.
