  • If you know someone who has MS, or perhaps you have MS, would you please share your story?

My cousin was recently diagnosed with MS. She is very afraid of what the future might hold for her. She will be coming to visit us in October and we do not know what to expect. But, she is very afraid and we do not know how to comfort her. We do not know anyone who is living with MS, and so we do not know what to tell her. I have hope that it is managable. Please share your story and your coping mechanisms. Feel free to descibe your pharmacological therapy and its side effects. Thank you very much.

  • Is taking a tb shot safe with a hypertension medication?

I'd like to volunteer at the hospital and one of the requirements is the tb shot? Specifically, I am worried about the reaction with a hypertension medication I am taking. I also have this paranoia because two of my aunts (twins) died in infancy after the Nazis injected them with some kind of antiviral medication. The Nazis said they weren't supposed to eat high Vitamin C foods. This raises some questions, should I follow some kind of a dietary restriction if I choose to have the tb shot?

  • Women only!!! What would you do if you were a parapligic and your husband wanted sex?

Let's say the marriage was great until you became a parapeligic. You and your husband had a great marriage, and then you got into a car accident and became paralyzed from waist down. After years of therapy and still no improvement, but your husband stuck around and renovated the house to make it wheel chair accessable. The question is if you had no feeling from waist downward, would you still engage in sexual intercourse with your husband and why?

  • For Canadians, did you know?

The Canadian Charter of Rights and Freedoms prohibits discrimination based on sex. That means feminists cannot loby laws that disciminate against men. (That is why we have gender neutral laws like paternaty leave and maternaty leave, or the 50% split upon divorce.) So that settles that women have better rights than men, in my opinion. Can you think of laws that discriminate against men and favor women?

  • To all of you women who say you are not femnists, why don't you stop?

It is amazing to me that women say they are not feminists, yet enjoy the laws that feminists faught for. If you don't like feminism and refuse to fight for the cause, why don't you please: not go to a co-ed school; not report sexual harassment; not ask for the same wage as a male co-worker; not take maternaty leave; not demand 50% of the assets upon divorce; not demand child support! Because, really all those benefits are the result of feminism. (I excluded some benefits as I thought to include them would be discriminatory.) But really, when saying "I as a woman do not support femnism" that is the same as saying "I as a balck person support slavery"! Why are women saying they are not femnists, are they afraid of the backlash?

  • I don't want to pay for her dinner!?

Previously, and not to long ago, I read a question on "Yahoo Answers" that said that the man did not like paying for his date's dinner given the advancements of feminism. This man did not say that he was willing to be in the passanger's seat half the time the couple was going to take rides together. He did not say that he was willing to take half of her maternaty leave. He did not say that he was willing to alternate the days to miss work as a result of the child's illness. He did not say that he would advise his wife to work as much overtime as him. And, he did not say he was willing to do half of the chores and cook half of the meals of the week. But, did he need to? Did he imply that he sees himself as an equal and thus is willing to do the equal work it takes to have a successful relationship?

  • Is non-gendered division of labour in the home not healthy?

The housework our family does is not divided based on sex (male or female) but preferance. I, as a woman, and my mom do the cooking. I, my sister, and my dad do the grocery shopping. My sister does the gas based barbequeing and my dad does the coal based barbequeing. We women take out the garbage. My dad and I do the vacuming. My whole family does the dishes. My sister does the laundry, but I put it away. My sister and my dad do the gardening. My sister and I do the snow shoveling. We all choose the chores to do around the house based on preferance of the chore. We do not look at the chores as that is feminine work and this is masculine work. You don't think we are not healthy, do you?
