The Canadian Charter of Rights and Freedoms prohibits discrimination based on sex. That means feminists cannot loby laws that disciminate against men. (That is why we have gender neutral laws like paternaty leave and maternaty leave, or the 50% split upon divorce.) So that settles that women have better rights than men, in my opinion. Can you think of laws that discriminate against men and favor women?

You said it yourself. They can't discriminate against men. The laws are gender-neutral. How does this give one sex any sort of advantage over the other?

Yea, and our charter up here also prevents racism as well.
Do you think there is no racism in Canada?
Just because a law is out there doesn't mean it can't be broken.
I'm not saying your wrong, i think your right, but dont think just because a law prohibits something it doesn't happen.

In America, the SAT favors girls over boys.

women get a lighter jail sentence for the same crime,
because the law can,t believe what women are
capable of.
