Hi Anna.....here are just a few verses from Romans 8 which sum it all up for me:

1 There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.

2 For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus hath made me free from the law of sin and death.

9 But ye are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit, if so be that the Spirit of God dwell in you. Now if any man have not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of his.

10 And if Christ be in you, the body is dead because of sin; but the Spirit is life because of righteousness.

11 But if the Spirit of him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwell in you, he that raised up Christ from the dead shall also quicken your mortal bodies by his Spirit that dwelleth in you.

14 For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God.

15 For ye have not received the spirit of bondage again to fear; but ye have received the Spirit of adoption, whereby we cry, Abba, Father.

16 The Spirit itself beareth witness with our spirit, that we are the children of God:

17 And if children, then heirs; heirs of God, and joint-heirs with Christ; if so be that we suffer with him, that we may be also glorified together.

18 For I reckon that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us.

35 Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword?

36 As it is written, For thy sake we are killed all the day long; we are accounted as sheep for the slaughter.

37 Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us.

38 For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come,

39 Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

These verses all say it for me Anna....I know that I KNOW THAT I KNOW....Praise God. Nothing and no one shall separate me from HIM.

Anna: I think some of the answers came from people who don't want to be saved or go to heaven. But I will say this, I agree with Jeff S, Donald T and NJ.

No, I don't. I personally don't think anyone knows for sure....I think they're is a 50/50 chance. You could be 80 y/o right now and believe you will be sent to Heaven, but tomorrow you might commit a deadly sin....no one ever know, but people can wish....I surely hope I am sent to Heaven(even with all of my screw-up's in life)

Your question was misleading, and needs rewording.

I ask all of you who love Jesus,"How do you know you will go to heaven?"

Firstly, your question implies that this Biblical character Jesus

    exists.

Secondly, your question implies that Heaven is a place.

Thirdly, you are positing the idea that we have to be saved.

If heaven is the Kingdom of God,and God is Infinte,Eternal,

and Omnipresent Being, then there can not be a place where

Heaven is not. Therefore,we are already in Heaven, but we do

not know this, because our sense of reality,is an erroneous concept of a Spiritual Reality.

Because Jesus promised that He would save me when I accepted Him as my Savior. John 1:12.

  • I was baptise when I was 5 years old so even though I'm an Atheist I'm really just an undercover Christian so of course I will go to Heaven. Once a person is saved by being baptised they are eternally saved. They cant go wrong after that.

Hi Anna. I accepted Jesus Christ into my heart and later I was baptized in water and resurrected in a new life with Jesus Christ. I too was filled with the Holy Spirit a few years afterwards. And that is over forty years ago. God bless you. Later.

As for me, I think Jesus was a great guy and all, but he is, you know, dead, and it's sort of hard to love a guy in that case.

And I'm certainly not saved in the Christian sense, since I'm not a Christian and I don't believe in heaven or hell. So in any case I'm pretty sure I'm not going ot heaven--thank goodness.

When I go for judgment and that slate recording my sins is brought out it will be an extensive list. However, It will not contain entries that I didn't have faith, that i didn't believe, that I didn't ask forgiveness, that I didn't believe Jesus died for our sins and that I didn't forgive my enemies. I hope that I receive an entree se vou pla.

As per my experience - if a person received a call from GOD directly or indirectly means He is saved.

I think Still am in the level of human nature ( Flesh )

    so I don't know now.
