Can I run XP and Vista in my laptop?

I have a new Dell laptop it has about 2GIG memory and Core2 DUAL cpu ,I got it cheaper cause it has Windows Xp now I want to put Windows Vista in it can I run dual operating system on it (xp and vista) Without formatting the whole hard drive??

    You will need a seperate programs to do it, one is called partition magic. as for reinstalling the os, i believe you will have to.

    You can ... but I found it a lot easier to buy a separate hard-drive (about $70) and install Vista on there and keep everything separate .... this way you have 2 good builds in case something happens to one of them

    Why the hell do you want Windows Vista? It's horrible. Stick with XP.

    wouldnt risk it if your computer is built for vista
